Quite a few people have been asking me to do more personal blogging, and I have agreed. Honestly I’m not sure why anyone would want to hear about my normal, every day life, unless they where under the illusion that my life is somehow interesting. This blog should swiftly clear up any silly notions that my life is more interesting than the average person, especially as I don’t go out to the real world very often! :p
My every day life:
Get up, coffee, read internet, shower, edit videos and code stuff, eat, start watching netflix int he background while coding/editing, then go to bed. That’s basically my life. Once every few weeks I’ll shoot some smut when folks are available to film with, otherwise filming is at random times. That may change once I move house and have a non dial-up speed (I’m not even kidding) internet connection.
Today I had my first trip outside in a few weeks as I’ve been both injured and sick. Once every 2-4 weeks is a normal time frame for me venture into the outside world, mainly for food and other groceries. Most weeks my housemate collects these and other such quest items for me, so some weeks and months I don’t need to go outside at all, which is awesome!
My general life is pretty boring IMO. I love editing videos and learning to code so most of my time is spent doing that.
Why I don’t like going outside: I generally hate going outside. It’s dirty, and now that I don’t smoke cigarettes anymore and I’ve been magically gifted back my sense of smell, so when I go outside I get to experience the wonderful variety of smells life on the outside presents me with: urine, petrol, rubbish, dog poop, stale sweat, bad breath, off meats… all those delights and more! Plus there is the Australian day ball, happily beaming down it’s insane cancer death radiation rays of extremeness. More than 15 minute sin the sun even in winter is enough to turn me lobster red, and often if I don’t wear sunglasses I end up with a migraine. I was prescribed these weird tinted sunglasses as a kid to stop the UV radiation from frying my brain so I could do normal child schooling things, but I’ve never worn them as I got bullied really heavily for wearing them. Glasses weren’t cool or sexy when I was a kid, especially not ones that made you look like a Ricky Martin fan.
